Cupola House (1758)

The Cupola House is considered the finest surviving example of Jacobean architecture in the country and is a National Historic Landmark. Built in 1758, it features exceptional Georgian woodwork and Colonial Revival Heritage Gardens.
The house gets its name from the distinctive octagonal cupola atop the roof, which was likely used as a lookout over Edenton Bay.
